Bobbin Lace weekend at Missenden Abbey 15th-17th May 2009
A great relaxed weekend of Bobbin Lace Making.
- Elizabeth continued with her beautiful Bedfordshire collar;
- Sue finished off her tray cloth and completed a Torchon bookmark
- Viv worked on a Zodiac sign for one of her grand children;
- Maggie & Tina both worked on Bedfordshire roundels ;
- Bridget worked with scrummy silk threads to create a necklace
- Betty made a horseshoe for a wedding next month
- A bag was purchased and modelled... slides of the OIDFA display of bags were shown.... beautiful bobbins made by Ken Hunt were purchased .. and a good time was had by all.
Jan's next course at Missenden Abbey is 20th-22nd November.. I hope that you can join us.
